Credit dispute letters:

Where do I send my credit dispute letter?  Once you know what to dispute you can send letters to the agencies below.  Also don't be fooled the credit agencies are governed to look into your request whether you use their form an online form or a handwritten or typed letter.  Do whatever is most convenient and easiest for you.

Equifax:

Equifax Information Services LLC
P.O. Box 740256
Atlanta, GA 30374

Trans Union:

Trans Union Consumer Solutions
P.O. Box 2000
Chester, PA 19022-2000

Trans union has an excellent form letter that is also a good example of what you would want to put in a letter. You certainly do not have to use their form.  A letter also works.

Experian:

Experian
National Consumer Assistance Center
P.O. Box 2002
Allen, TX 75013

Your letter doesn't have to have great detail.  In fact unless you have hard evidence you are best keeping it short and sweet.  An example would be I was never late on my account abc account# 123 please make the necessary corrections.

What you must have in your dispute letter:

Your name
Your social security number
Your address
What account # you are disputing
Your dispute
